AMX Enova DGX

The AMX Enova DGX is a high end Audio Video Matrix. It is a modular product that is customisable to the user’s specific requirements. From an 8x8 enclosure (8 inputs and 8 outputs) all the way up to 64x64 enclosure, the DGX can meet the demands of even the largest of sites. With support for full 3D 1080p HDMI, Surround sound, Control, Ethernet and Power over 100m of CAT5E/6, or 10km over fibre (single mode, 300m over multimode).

AMX’s SmartScale technology delivers an optimally scaled image to every display, eliminates any incompatibilities between sources and displays. While InstaGate Pro seamlessly integrates HDCP support for devices and displays.

Wyrestorm Modular Matrix Switcher

Wyrestorm is now offering its custom, totally modular, built-to-order 8x8 and 16x16 HD matrixes. For projects that demand the benefits of HDBaseT transmission, such as signal stability, distribution of full 1080p HD video, HD audio, integrated Power-over-HDBaseT (PoH) and bidirectional control via IR and routable RS232, all over a single Cat5e/6 cable up to 70m/230ft.

The benefits of the modular design means that the matrix can be customised and built by us for your specific requirements.

CASE STUDY: St. Georges Hill Property

The customer required full HD 1080p video to be distributed from four Sky HD boxes and a Movie Server to multiple rooms around this rather large property. Considerable time was spent planning the operation of the system and selecting the best pieces of equipment for the job. Once a plan of action was decided upon, additional necessary cabling was run in and existing cabling tested for feasibility and faults.

The main piece of hardware for this project was the Wyrestorm 8x16 HDMI Matrix. This enabled the Sky boxes and movie server to be distributed to up to 16 separate rooms whilst leaving 3 additional source inputs for future expandability.

The Wyrestorm matrix was installed in custom racking, which enabled good airflow for cooling and simple cable management. Along with the matrix, the racking also housed the Control processor, Network equipment, UPS’ (Uninterrupted Power Supply), Sky boxes and Movie server.
