Category 6
The obvious choice for any company investing in a new cabling system for short to medium term periods. Category 6 cabling supports full duplexed Gigabit Ethernet to distances of 95metres.
Generally only available in a Low Smoke Zero Halogen format, the Category 6 system requires more care and attention when planning containment and bend radii than Category 5e but significantly less than Cat6a and Cat7. This makes it the ideal product for very difficult installations in listed buildings that want to build in future proofing.

Disadvantages
- More expensive solution than Category 5e.
- Not guaranteed to support emerging 10Gigabit hardware.
