Multiroom systems are a great way to keep everyone happy by allowing different audio sources to be played in different rooms simultaneously. Our multiroom audio systems allow you to play music from local sources such as DAB Radio, iPod Docks, dedicated Music Servers, Sonos or even online services such as Spotify or Internet Radio.

Control of the system can be via in-wall keypads & touchpanels or via wireless touch panels or iPads. In-ceiling or free standing speakers, you decide, we can offer solutions for all tastes.

Music Servers

We offer a full range of music servers and storage from Sonos all the way up to Request Audio & Autonomic Mirage Media Servers.

A music server offers the best combination of high end audio performance and convenience, allowing you to store thousands of uncompressed tracks and replay them at the touch of a button with audiophile quality. Dependent on the system, insert a CD and the unit will automaticall rip it to its storage whilst retrieving metadata & album art from the internet.
If your music collection is on iTunes, simply link the sytem to your iTunes account and all tracks will be ready for playback on the server.
We can also offer cloud based content via subscription to using Spotify premium offering millions of the latest tracks to enjoy at the touch of a button.

AMX Tango Multiroom Distribution

The Tango Audio Controller integrates all of your audio sources and makes them easily accessible from a single, centrally managed location. A single Tango unit controls up to 8 sources and distributes audio to either 4 or 8 rooms or zones.
Controlling sources can be done using basic keypads right up to two-way touch panels for media feedback of what is currently playing.
. Sources such as Satellite Receivers, CD Players, MP3 Players and Media Servers can be connected to the RCA source inputs on the rear panel. Tango’s modular design allows it to grow with you to accommodate future technologies via replaceable tuner and interface cards. While it can inherently support 8 sources and 8 zones, up to 7 Tango Zone Expanders can be added to the system to add up to 64 rooms/zones.

CASE STUDY: SW19 Residential Customer

Whilst carrying out a refurbishment to their SW19 property, we were asked to assist with installing a system that would enable the customer to be able to reconnect with Music.
We surveyed the space and after discussions, it became clear that the customers love of music meant that this would be required in the lounge, patio, kitchen and two ensuite bathrooms.

An AMX Tango multiroom system was installed with a Request Music Server (two seperate outputs), DAB Tuner, Apple Airplay and Virgin Tivo as audio sources outputting to five audio zones. The majority of the control has been implemented using iPad mini's as touch panels for full two-way control. A dedicated MIO-R4 (Traditional Remote with hard buttons for Volume, Channel etc.) was provided for the lounge and Metreau Keypads have been installed for bathroom controls.

The customer now enjoys music where ever they are in their home and is very much looking forward to Summer...
